AVERY MATHIS

Avery Mathis began dancing when she was 5 years old, in Waxahachie Texas. Training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contempory, lyrical, musical theatre, and hiphop. Avery also joined the Waxahachie Cherokee Charmers Drill Team for 3 years. With that she has won National All American dancer Honorable Mention , and won All American dancer. She became a teacher assistant at age 16 and started teaching at 17. Avery has won many 1st place awards and has won nationals in her age division this past year. Avery has a full ride scholarship to showstoppers dance convention and dance competition. She has also been awarded invitation to edge performance company.
She is a member and captain of the motivation dance studio competition team, and apart of the elite team. She hopes to continue to grow as a dancer and show her passion for teaching!
